Small Great Things

Small Great Things

by Jodi Picoult

Brief Summary

Prejudices often destroy lives, which is the case with Ruth Jefferson. She is banned from caring for a newborn because the baby’s white supremacist parents object. When the baby goes into distress and nobody else is around, Ruth hesitates before performing CPR. Later, she faces charges and has to stand up for what's right.
