The Nez Perce War, 1877. Settlers who seemed friendly at first got blinded by greed and gold. Nez Perce tribe had to fight back and escape across 1,500 miles of rough terrain. In "The Last Indian War," these people show their courage and dedication, as they are called nimíipuu, which means "we, the people."
