We all constantly move – that's a simple truth. But here's another undeniable reality: constantly moving doesn’t mean moving adequately, both in quantity and quality. Unfortunately, this is a feature of the modern lifestyle. We spend hours in front of computers, slouching over a keyboard. No wonder our bodies suffer. Many of us experience stiffness, discomfort, and distress. How can one change it?

You might start saying that caring for your body is too time-consuming and difficult. But what if we say that it is simpler than you might think? Forget hitting the gym, running, or stretching. Instead, focus on "mobility." According to fitness experts, mobility means moving how our bodies are inherently shaped to move. We will give you some of such movements to start your way to health improvement.

Try out the Sit-and-Rise test. Stand up straight and cross one leg over the other. Take a moment to find your balance. Now, lower yourself down to the ground. Sit comfortably in crisscross style, feeling the support beneath you. Ready to rise? Great! Without relying on your other body parts, begin the ascent. Let the strength in your legs guide you upward the same way.

After practice, give yourself a starting score of ten. Deduct a point whenever you require assistance or struggle. A score between three and six indicates room for improvement. Seven to nine is not bad, but aim for a perfect ten.

What's so special about the Sit-and-Rise test? It provides valuable insights into how long and healthy our life could be. Ask some children you know to do this test, and you will see the difference. As adults, we often lose touch with this innate ability. However, by reclaiming it, we open the door to numerous benefits. So, let's embrace this challenge. It has the potential to transform our well-being and bring about positive changes in our lives. Try to perform it after around seven days of practice, and you will notice a significant difference.

To make an advancement, you should do a very simple thing. Just sit on the floor! Try out all the sitting styles that you know so far. Change sitting positions regularly. It prevents stiffness and promotes better mobility. You can gradually improve your mobility and overall well-being by dedicating half an hour daily to sitting on the floor.
