According to an IBM study, more than half of company employees would like to work completely remotely. Moreover, seventy-five percent favored continuing this work format for some time. What caused such survey results? One of the reasons was safety considerations and the desire to avoid the dangerous coronavirus.

Nevertheless, the first successful remote experience also played a role in the decision of many companies to prolong this work format. Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Facebook, said that more than forty-five thousand workers will continue to work online even after the end of the pandemic.

So, even though the pandemic has dealt a devastating blow to many businesses, lots of companies managed to adapt to the new conditions and continue to operate online. This decision preserved many companies and prevented job losses. That’s how the current approach to work emerged.
