Many of us have faced a situation where we saw an ad for a product that promises to solve all our problems. In today's society, it is challenging to understand what we really need for our mental health. We buy a skin care product and think it will make us feel better. Media or bloggers assure us that using this item daily will reduce our stress and make us happy. But it doesn't.

If you've experienced such an issue, don't worry. This is a normal practice for many people in the modern capitalist world. Most likely, you have also encountered various self-care programs. Of course, they offered you plans which would give you the energy and strength to live. It seemed that you would succeed in everything, no matter what it was. And then you follow this plan. You seem to be successful in it. But something is wrong.

You follow every step of your plan yet still feel unmotivated and depressed. You cannot understand why. Furthermore, you see your goal, and you know what needs to be done for you to achieve it. But somehow, it just doesn’t work. Then, the question, “What’s wrong with me?” arises. But you’re alright. A self-care product can’t rewrite your experiences and eliminate their negative consequences.

Don't try to replace therapy with a cool purchase that will stop bringing you joy in a few hours. Don't try to follow a plan of "what to do to avoid stress" if it causes even more stress. Even if salespeople or influencers try to assure you that a product can help you recover your psychological health, you shouldn't listen to them. Some methods of dealing with stress simply don't work. You may get some advice to exercise to improve your condition. Indeed, exercising can be a life-saver. But will it work in the long run? You can use all these fake self-care methods and still feel miserable. You have to really dig deep into yourself.

Small problems of individuals grow into problems of society. Perhaps moving away from the system of fake self-care will make the community better and help you live an easier life. This is especially true when it comes to women and the normalized limitations they face every day.

There is no such thing as a shortcut. You cannot become healthy in one day, and certainly cannot become healthy if you do not get treatment. Identify your concerns and delve deeper into yourself to understand what you really need.
